Laxfield Community Land Trust Limited (LCLTL) is a not-for-profit Charitable Company. Although we are not yet a registered Charity, it is our intention to apply to become one in the future.
Objects
The Objects of Laxfield CLT are
(as set out in clause 4 of the Articles of Association):
- The prevention of or relief from financial hardship
By the provision of housing, buildings and workspaces on favourable terms for residents of Laxfield
- The maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities
By providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time activities with the objective of improving conditions of life for the residents
- The advancement of environmental protection or improvement
By protecting or conserving the environment either by standalone projects or by applying environmental principles to other activities and projects of the company
